Mass Intentions

It is customary for Catholics to request that the priest offer the Mass for a specific person or persons living or deceased.   A small offering is given to the priest in exchange for offering the Mass.  You can request a Mass offering by contacting the parish office or by placing your offering in an envelope and placing in the collection basket.

Special envelopes for this purpose are available at the back of the Church.  If you wish a Mass on a specific date, please make your request well in advance.

The recommended offering for a Mass is 10$.  This offering is given to the priest who celebrates the Mass.   If an offering exceeds 10$, the remainder is given to the parish account.

Church law normally permits that a priest may only accept one intention per Mass.   We have permission to accept several intentions at the 5pm Saturday evening Mass and 12:30pm Spanish Mass on Sunday.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

The Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration every Friday from 9am – 10pm. Benediction is celebrated at 9:50pm.   Everyone is invited to drop by and spend some time with our Lord.  If you are able to commit to an hour each week, please contact the office.

On First Fridays the Rosary is recited in Spanish at 8:00pm during the Adoration. The Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is recited in English following the morning Mass and in Spanish preceding the Benediction.

On Second Fridays a time of Adoration with children is celebrated between 6:30pm – 7:30pm.

Holy Communion to the Sick or Homebound

If you or a family member are unable to participate at Mass and you wish to receive Holy Communion at home, at the hospital, a senior’s residence, or nursing home please contact the Parish at 905-844-7971 and we will make arrangements for a priest or minister of Holy Communion to visit and bring Holy Communion.
