Holy Eucharist
“When we eat this Bread and Drink this Cup, we proclaim your death, O Lord, until you come again.” – Memorial Acclamation
Mass Intentions
It is customary for Catholics to request that the priest offer the Mass for a specific person or persons living or deceased. A small offering is given to the priest in exchange for offering the Mass. You can request a Mass offering by contacting the parish office or by placing your offering in an envelope and placing in the collection basket.
Special envelopes for this purpose are available at the back of the church and all the Church doors. Once you have completed the request envelope, place it in the MASS INTENTION box on the table behind the last pew. If you wish to request a Mass on a specific date, please make your request well in advance.
The recommended offering for a Mass is $10. This offering is given to the priest who celebrates the Mass. If an offering exceeds $10, the remainder is given to the parish account. Church law normally permits that a priest may only accept one intention per Mass. We have permission to accept several intentions at the 5 pm Saturday evening Mass and 12:30 pm Spanish Mass on Sunday.
Holy Communion to the Sick or HOMEBOUND
Should you or a family member are unable to participate at Mass and you wish to receive Holy Communion at home, at the hospital, a senior’s residence, or nursing home please contact the parish at 905-844-7971 and we will make arrangements for a priest or minister of Holy Communion to visit and bring Holy Communion.
