Anointing of the Sick

Anointing of the Sick is the sacrament given to those who are in danger of death because of illness or old age.  This sacrament can be received more than once if the condition of the sick person worsens.

The sacrament prepares the sick person to meet Christ in death. It brings peace, comfort, and courage, as well as the forgiveness of sins if the sick person is unable to go to confession. In some cases, the sacrament can bring physical healing.

If you or someone you know needs to receive the Anointing of the Sick, please contact the parish office.
